Savvy Trial Ride

The Northants Naturally Group is having a trial ride around the glorious area of Salcey Forest in Northampton.

Onus is on natural riding, riding with no restraints in a calm and friendly manner at a walking and trotting pace

Stopping for Ice Cream and Lunch covering approx 6 -7 miles so not too short nor too long with some optional canter stretches for those wanting a little extra pace.

Western Lessons

Western Lessons are now happening, places are filling up but we do have some limited spaces available.

Lessons are with reining champion Shane Borland and based on either a private lesson or shared (max 2)

Held on Sunday 18th October at Holdenby Stables.

Auditor places are free and the first lesson is scheduled to start at 10am

You can learn so much just from watching, listening and observing the Instructor and the partcipants.

Foundation Courses for 2009

Is anyone thinking of enroling onto the Foundation Course, Information is going to be released in January and I am interested in reading more about it. I was told that it was going to be in the region of £100 and the study can be carried out at home and then you are tested at the office in Stoneleigh.

It would be great to be doing this with others

I purchased the Parelli patterns and on opening the pack I thought "Is that all you get" however after going through everything I came to see that it is a great move forward. Being able to play Savvy by Savvy with clear and flowing patterns is sure to bring more fun for my horses and myself.

I have already started playing the patterns but where do I get a pedestal

Savvy Fun Day / Tournament

Just a huge thanks to everyone for their help in setting up and putting everything away again. It makes a huge difference when everyone chips in...

I have done a small write up and it will appear on the site with some photos after the social meeting tonight. A great fun day with many challenges and idea's for poeple to take home with them.

I received loads of positve comments during the day and these are only two of them

Hi we were at Moulton College on Sunday, where were you?

We were meant to be bringing a horse but after trying to load the mare my daughter decided that instead of focusing on getting the horse to the fun day she would use the time to do trailer loading and then turn her loose. So we ended up with Capella having had a good Parelli session at the yard with the trailer, us already for lunch and the time only 10.30!

We are so lucky in Northamptonshire, we have Northants Naturally ... like minded, spirited and Parelli mad friends that get together monthy for a social where we talk, eat and watch dvd's together all of a Parelli theme.

We have courses organised for us, fun days, private buddy days and I would like to think provide support for everyone enrolled!

So lets have three cheers (one each) for PNH, Savvy club and Northants...
